The NDL team had a great time at the National Fragile X Foundation’s 16th International Fragile X Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. From July 11-15, members of the NDL met and interacted with families affected by fragile X.

The conference also included many engaging research presentations, including those by lab alum Michelle Lee (“A Multi-Method Approach to Characterizing Pragmatic Language Development in Individuals with FXS”) and current graduate students Lauren Bush and Shivani Patel (“Conversational Entrainment during Parent-Child Interactions in Fragile X Syndrome”).

Molly Winston, another current graduate student, also presented a poster entitled “Autonomic Regulation in Girls with Fragile X Syndrome: Links with Language Abilities.”

Thank you to all of the families who stopped by our table and to the NFXF for organizing such a wonderful event!
