The National Fragile X Foundation (NFXF) leads an advocacy program to help advance research and programs to help provide better opportunities and lives to those living with Fragile X and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The pillar of this program is the Advocacy Day when families, self-advocates, professionals, and many others go to Capitol Hill and relay their stories about Fragile X and associated disorders, their families, policies that support research, and much more. The overall goal is to work across party lines, be a voice of solutions, and help improve lives of people living with Fragile X Syndrome. The success of 2019’s Advocacy Day led to monumental changes for the Fragile X  community and we cannot wait to see what this year will accomplish.  Join the NFXF on February 24-25, 2020 in Washington, DC as they engage in this year’s Advocacy Day!
