Dr. Losh was featured in Northwestern’s School of Communication Fall 2016 News, for her advocacy for teens and adults with autism who are seeking gainful employment. In 2013, with assistance from Dr. Losh and Have Dreams, Northwestern University joined Project SEARCH, an internship program for teens with autism in their last year of high school. Project SEARCH Collaborates for Autism at Northwestern University immerses Project Search interns in the workplace while aiming to strengthen job skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and career planning to prepare them to enter the competitive workforce.
