Easterseals is a non-profit organization that is proudly committed to serving the Chicagoland and Greater Rockford communities. As a resource for families and individuals living with Autism and similar neurodevelopmental disabilities, Easterseals sponsors live and virtual events to not only build a community but keep the community informed. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have shifted much of their efforts to helping individuals and families with ASD cope with the struggles brought on by the pandemic. Their resources range from helping children understand COVID-19, helping children understand social distancing, and helping families structure their time away from traditional schooling.
